Is this a licensed medical practice?

Cabot Medical is a licensed and insured medical practice based in Michigan founded and owned by board-certified physicians. Every patient is evaluated by a licensed physician before any prescription is issued.

Do you accept insurance?

No. Cabot Medical operates on a cash-pay basis. This lets us avoid the delays, denials, and prior-authorization hurdles common with insurance-covered weight loss care.

Do you prescribe compounded medications?

No. Cabot Medical prescribes FDA-approved medications only. Filled through manufacturer-direct pharmacies, not compounding pharmacies.

Can I use my HSA/FSA?

Yes, for the vast majority of patients. Check with your HSA/FSA administrator if you have questions as your eligibility rules may vary by plan.
