We built Cabot Medical because we were tired of watching patients fall through the cracks of impersonal, corporate telehealth. Here's how a physician-owned practice is different.
Physician-owned practice“Large telehealth platforms” describes common practices across national, investor-backed telehealth companies; individual companies vary.
Physician-Owned, Physician-Led
Cabot Medical is owned and operated by practicing physicians, not public investors, private equity, or a national corporate health brand.
Local to Michigan & Ohio
Our board-certified physicians are licensed in Michigan and Ohio. We know the communities we serve.
Consistent, Coordinated Care
Large telehealth companies rotate you through potentially hundreds of providers. At Cabot, you'll actually get to know your doctor.
FDA-Approved Medications Only
No compounded alternatives. No unregulated formulations. We believe you deserve medications with a proven safety record.
Your Health Data Stays Private
Many large telehealth platforms monetize patient data. Cabot Medical has a strict privacy policy with zero personal or health data sales.
HSA & FSA Eligible
Visits and eligible prescriptions qualify for HSA and FSA funds, keeping out-of-pocket costs down.
Why should I pay for FDA-approved GLP-1s if compounded is cheaper?
Compounded GLP-1 medications are not federally regulated at this time, and are often times ineffective and additionally can be dangerous. These medications may be contaminated, cause infections, or alter your body’s normal functioning. At this time, in nearly all instances, prescribing compounded GLP-1 medications is also illegal in the United States.
